IT Job outlook is bright

The US Bureau of Labor Statistics Occupational Outlook Handbook, 2008-09, projects that job opportunities in the information technology area will grow by a minimum of 25% by 2016. Some jobs, such as network administrator, analyst and software engineer will experience much higher than average growth. Jobs in related occupations, such as sales and service reps, technical writers and IT market research analysts, will also increase. In short, earning a degree in this field is a smart career decision.
