Massage Therapy: Associate Degree and Diploma

When dealing with stress, anxiety, injury and disease, people increasingly seek out the healing and relaxing touch of a massage therapist. At Minnesota School of Business-Rochester, you will receive the training you need to provide that service. We offer associate degree and diploma programs in massage therapy, as well as single-subject enrollment for CEUs.

Ready for a career in this gentle art? Call our Rochester college at 888-662-8772 or request information by email.

In addition to hands-on training in the classroom, students provide massage for outside clients and perform externships. They learn the most-requested techniques, including the following:

  • Swedish massage
  • Pregnancy massage
  • Special populations massage
  • Myofascial release
  • Hot stone massage
  • Lymphatic drainage
  • Deep tissue
  • Trigger point massage
  • Energy work

  • Craniosacral therapy

Students also receive training in SOAP charting, a standard way to record symptoms, treatment recommendations, and assessments of the outcome of treatment objectively and consistently.
