High School Students: Information and Support

Deciding what you will do after high school can be challenging. Your choices may include college, a job or the military. It’s important to get as much information as possible before making a decision. You should be aware of one thing, however: the right college education will translate directly into increased earnings and career flexibility.

High school scholarships and tuition-free college classes

We offer several programs specifically to help high school students get a head start on college:

  • High School Advantage. Apply for admission to an associate’s or bachelor’s degree program at or before the beginning of your senior year and you may qualify for four college courses free of tuition through the High School Advantage program.
  • President’s Scholarship. Apply to Minnesota School of Business during your senior year and you may be eligible for a President’s Scholarship: $2000 (apply by January 1) or $1000 (apply by April 1) $2,000.
  • Director's Academic Scholarship. Take the CPAt (Career Profile Assessment test). Depending on your CPAt score, you may be eligible for a scholarship of up to $5,000.

In addition to the above high school programs, Minnesota School of Business offers a number of other scholarship and financial aid opportunities to Rochester students.
