Information for Adult Learners

A majority of students at Minnesota School of Business-Rochester are adult learners—they have been out of high school for various periods of time (average age, 27), and manage family and professional responsibilities in addition to classes. Quite a few are single parents. All are committed to increasing their career options through education.

How we help

1. Flexibility

Day, evening, part-time, online—what will work for you? Do you want face-to-face time on campus, or the efficiency of online courses? Are you ready to make a commitment to finish in record time, or will a slower, part-time program work best for you? We will help you find the right solution.

2. Affordable payment plans

When you enroll in Minnesota School of Business, you will meet with a financial aid representative who wil help as you investigate scholarships, grants, loans and employer tuition-assistance programs and work out a payment plan you can live with.

3. Credit for prior learning

Do you have on-the-job training, industry certifications, previous college work or other course-equivalent experience? You can fulfill up to 75% of program requirements in that way.

4. Career-focused training

Whether it is your goal to advance in your current field or take a new career direction, every course you take will provide skills you can use on the job.
